Thursday in the heart of London
For the Fit Bit brigade you will be impressed I managed 16,000 steps walking the city today. Our first port of call was the Fulham Football ground, Craven Cottage, to have a look at something for our own home grown talent the young Harry Caldwell. We then strolled back along the river to Putney and caught the tube into Trafalgar Square. Got ourselves some lunch and a coffee and did some serious people watching. We had a great afternoon redoing all the tourist spots Picadilly, Oxford Street & Regent Street then back on the bus to Putney. I was on cooking duties tonight at Jess & Matt’s. Last night we all had dinner at Adam & Louisa‘s as it was Adam’s birthday 🍰

Out and About
Tuesday Adam, Matt & I went up to the RAF Museum at Hendon Airfield while Lau stayed in Putney checking out the Supermarket and cooking dinner for us all at Jess & Matt’s.
Today Wednesday, the kids are all at work so Lau and I had a touristy day going into town, had lunch at Borough Market, visited Leadenhall Market and Burlington Arcade( I’d give that a miss next time). Could go back to Borough everyday for lunch though as it’s fantastic.
Adams tonight for Deliveroo birthday dinner.

Arrived safely after great flight, no effort at all, not sure how we will ever go back to turning right on the plane. 😢
Got the sad news that Annette (my stepmother) passed away on Saturday, we were hopeful she would make it until we got back but, it was probably a blessing for her in the end. We are very grateful for our family back home who will continue to carry the load over the next few weeks. I am also very grateful to Laureen who did an amazing job for Annette over the last month or so easing her time.
On a happy note a picture of Lau in her little suite on the plane and a family outing to a local near Jess & Matt’s.
